So you booked a bachelorette trip to Nashville and then BAM the mayor shut down the bars to slow the spread of Covid19. Don't fret! And certainly don't cancel your bachelorette party.
There is more to the story and when I mean story, I mean those sexy, dramatic news headlines that are meant to make you gasp and immediately read the half-written truth. The real truth is a lot of bars are closed until July 17th, 2020, but NOT ALL OF THEM!
I decided to go downtown myself and find out exactly what is and isn't open. I walked up and down 2nd Ave and Broadway yesterday (July 7th, 2020) and took note of every establishment. Then when I got home I researched the venues that were closed without signage and confirmed their status through their website and social media.
